    When entrepreneurship and family life blend together

    Carol-Ann, a mother of two boys, has been a graphic designer for 15 years. Although she explored various sectors, she quickly realized that fixed office hours didn't fit the lifestyle she wanted. The 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. workday left her little time for her children, herself, or to enjoy family time.

    A decisive turning point

    In 2016, Carol-Ann's life was turned upside down when her 3-year-old son fell seriously ill. She put her career on hold to be with him, unsure of what the future held. The ordeal transformed her, making her realize the fragility of life and the importance of every moment.

    Returning to work: a missed balance

    After her son's recovery, Carol-Ann returned to work, but felt out of place. She yearned for a true balance, combining professional fulfillment with being there for her children.

    A decisive reflection

    In 2021, while on maternity leave for her second son, Carol-Ann took a step back and reflected on her future. Driven by her love of design and passion for organization, she created Mlle Label.

    This adventure showed her that entrepreneurship could turn her dreams into reality. She understood that work-life balance is essential for achieving full potential.
